This past Saturday Caleb competed in his first Karate Tournament. While only a white belt (and the only one there I think), he took home a third place trophy for his form.
We are very proud of Caleb, but even more proud of his character! He is a great winner and a great loser. He gives high fives and encouragement to everyone he competes against.
His teacher, Master Truscott, is passionate about growing Karate kids who exhibit the tenets of Tae Kwon Do; "Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit." We feel very blessed to have him partnering with us to instill great character in all of our boys.
