Father's Day 2013

The boys created a Treasure Hunt for their Dad this Father's Day.
They tromped around the property in costumes until Matt found an X.
Then he dug up a ziplock baggie filled some many of the boys' treasures....
Used glow sticks, broken silly bands, bouncy balls with missing chunks out of the side.
True LOVE!

And then they SWAM!

After church I snapped a few pictures of the most handsome Daddy in the World!

Egg Dying - 2013

The Hunt - Easter 2013

Although it was the day before Easter, Saturday turned out to be a perfectly marvelous day for an Easter Egg Hunt.   The boys' joyful expressions seemed to pop off the backdrop of our beautiful spring day beside the lake.

Tetherball Victories

Brody is not marked by his love of sports or his passion for going to school, but these pictures do a great job showing one of the things he really enjoys about his class days on Tuesdays and Thursdays...

TETHERBALL!

Praise God for each VICTORY!

Family Karate

While our entire family has taken up Karate this post is primarily about our Caleb.

This past Saturday Caleb competed in his first Karate Tournament.  While only a white belt (and the only one there I think), he took home a third place trophy for his form.

We are very proud of Caleb, but even more proud of his character!  He is a great winner and a great loser.  He gives high fives and encouragement to everyone he competes against.

His teacher, Master Truscott, is passionate about growing Karate kids who exhibit the tenets of Tae Kwon Do; "Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit."  We feel very blessed to have him partnering with us to instill great character in all of our boys.

It's a very HULK CHRISTMAS - Asher 2012

This Little Boy STOLE MY HEART today!

It amazes me to think that my youngest will be five and in Kindergarten the next time we celebrate Christmas.  And so I took all his darlingness in today and tucked so many sweet memories away.

There was only one item on Asher's Christmas gift wish list... HULK GLOVES!  Look at his face below in this next picture when he unwrapped his precious present.  LOVE IT!

Asher spent the rest of the day speaking in the 3rd person with this above expression on his face.  "HULK ANGRY!...  HULK HUNGRY!... HULK READY FOR BED!..."

Goodnight one and all.  And a very Merry Christmas to you and yours.
